Four things you can do from your iPhone
- Start
- Approve a waiting task so Claude Code can get to work.
- Answer
- Type a reply to Claude Code's question. Your words and line breaks arrive exactly as written.
- Allow
- Grant a permission once, or always for that repo. Anything the guard on your Mac blocks stays blocked on your iPhone too.
- Cancel
- Stop a task that has gone the wrong way. You can also watch its terminal to see how far it has got.
Notifications reach you anywhere with a connection. For these four actions, your iPhone and Mac need to be on the same network.
Pair with your Mac in a minute
- On your Mac, open Settings › iPhone and turn the connection on.
- Scan the QR code with the iPhone Camera app, then tap the link that appears.
- Allow notifications. Your iPhone now tells you when a task needs you.
Only your iPhone can read the content
Your Mac encrypts task names and questions before sending them. Our server and Apple pass along a package they cannot read, with one generic line of text. There is no account, no email and no password.
| Can see | Cannot see | |
|---|---|---|
| Our server | The device code used to send notifications, plus their time and number | Task names, questions, your Mac's name |
| Apple | The device code and the generic line | Task names, questions, your Mac's name |
| Your iPhone | All of the content |
